Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a skilled cardiovascular technologist to assist in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.

The role requires competence with a variety of equipment, strong teamwork and flexibility; candidates should have graduation from a cardiovascular or radiology program and current CVT or RTR credentials, with ACLS/BLS and RCIS/RCES as noted.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program; cardiac experience preferred.
Cath lab or EP lab experience preferred but not required for those with cardiac education.
Two years in Cath or EP preferred but not required.
Current CVT or RTR credential required; ACLS and BLS required on hire; RCIS within 6 months; RCES required after 2 years EP experience.

Responsibilities

Assists in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
Maintains competence with a variety of equipment and technology used in procedures.
Responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital policies.
Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in duties.
