Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to assist in preparing and performing diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.

Jacksonville location with a part-time schedule. Requires CVT or RTR, RCIS within 6 months, ACLS and BLS at hire. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Cath lab or EP lab experience preferred but not required for those with cardiac education background.
• Two years in either Cath or EP is preferred but not required.
• Organized, efficient, team-based attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to demonstrate effective communication.
• Ability to work varied hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assists in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing and completing a diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedure under the supervision of a physician.
• Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology.
• Responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves.
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.
