Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of date of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assist physician as a monitor tech during cath lab procedures by interpreting EKGs and pressures.
• Assist physician with procedures as a scrub tech and operate imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Assist with some diagnostic procedures as a circulator, monitor patient status and pass supplies.
• Transport patients to and from the department and ensure cath lab is clean and stocked.

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree (science emphasis) or commensurate healthcare experience

AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

RCIS certification

ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
