Qualifications

• Current RCIS or ARRT certification is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• 1 year or more of experience in the cath lab or interventional radiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures and monitors and records hemodynamics.
• Ensures equipment is functioning and troubleshoots equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral tech and hemodynamics to assist physicians effectively.
• Provides quality customer service to patients, families, and coworkers to create a professional and respectful environment.
• Participates in the training and mentoring of employees and students.
