Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking a day shift, full-time Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT).

You will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures and monitor hemodynamics, ensuring equipment functions and patient care standards are met. The role requires RCIS or ARRT certification and BLS within 14 days of hire, with preferred experience in cath lab or interventional radiology.

Qualifications

• Current RCIS certification or ARRT certification as required for the role.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures and monitors hemodynamics.
• Ensures equipment is functioning and troubleshoots equipment for quality exams.
• Maintains knowledge of cardiovascular technology and hemodynamics to assist physicians.
• Provides quality customer service to patients and families and coworkers.
• Participates in training and mentoring of employees and students.
