Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, KS seeks a day shift, full-time Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVT) to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.

You will monitor hemodynamics, ensure equipment functions, mentor staff, and deliver compassionate patient care in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current RCIS or ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Experience in cath lab or interventional radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures and monitor hemodynamics.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular technologies and hemodynamics.
• Provide quality customer service to patients and coworkers.
• Participate in training and mentoring of staff and students.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures and monitors and records hemodynamics.
• Ensures equipment is functioning and troubleshoots equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology and hemodynamics to assist the physicians effectively.
• Provides quality customer service to patients, families, and coworkers to create a professional and respectful environment.
• Participates in the training and mentoring of employees and students.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1 year or more of experience working in the cath lab or interventional radiology
