Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
• Associates Degree Cardiovascular Technology (preferred)
• Associates Degree Vascular Technology (preferred)
• Associates Degree Healthcare Related Field (preferred)
• Bachelors Degree Healthcare Related Field (preferred)
• 1+ years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Electrophysiology Lab (preferred)
• Licensure: ARRT, BLS, and state license (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Must maintain sterile preparation and proper documentation of contrast use and charges.
• Maintain competence in radiologic imaging across vascular, spinal, chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremities.
• Complete mandatory education as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow confidentiality, HIPAA and safety policies.
• Report actions detrimental to staff, patients and organization.
• Keep rooms and equipment clean and properly organized between procedures.
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety protocols.
• Maintain required licensure and life support certifications.
• Operate inventory tracking and assist with supply orders.
• Participate in time-out, post-procedure huddles, and safety culture.
• On-call responsibilities and overtime as needed.
• Assist Radiology residents during preceptorship training.
• Perform competencies of the assigned unit.
• Other duties as required.
