Our Catering Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service by assisting guests at points of sale on event day.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and direction to banquet catering staff to deliver customer service in accordance with Sodexo Live! standards and policies.
• Assigns tasks and delegates responsibilities to Banquet Leads, monitoring servers as they provide a variety of pre-made or fresh-to-order snacks, beverages, and entrée items from Sodexo Live!'s menu.
• Contributes to making Sodexo Live! #1 in Event Hospitality and the #1 Employer of Choice through personal commitment and leading by example.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and experience in food preparation in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility in often tightly quartered environments.
• Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Stand and exert mobility in tight spaces.
• Bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
• Walk approximately one-fourth (¼) mile multiple times a day.
• Perform repetitive motions.
• Operate in environments with moderate to high noise levels.
• Push and pull equipment up to 0.4 miles.
• Stand for prolonged periods.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, carrying approximately 20 feet.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and twist intermittently or continuously.
• Grasp, push, pull objects, and reach and lift overhead.
• Operate a desktop computer or register terminal.
• Understand written information.
• Other physical requirements as needed to perform essential job functions.
