General Statement of Duties
This employee supervises and coordinates operations and maintenance work within the Stormwater Management Utility (SMU) division of the Department of Water and directs and supervises the efforts of staff performing these tasks. The employee participates as a senior staff member for the department and provides responsible assistance to department management staff. Performs related duties as required.

High school diploma (or GED); five years of experience in stormwater or sewer operation and maintenance, including at least two years in a supervisory role managing employees performing stormwater or sewer construction and maintenance. An Associate's degree or 18 semester credit hours in construction, maintenance, engineering, or related areas may substitute for up to two years of experience (excluding supervisory experience).
Military education and experience may substitute for college coursework and vocational training based on the ACE Military Guide on a case-by-case basis.
Environmental Conditions: Usually an office environment, with frequent outdoor site visits; light travel required.
Physical Conditions: Must maintain physical condition for sitting, standing, walking; able to operate vehicle.
