Job Summary/Basic Function: The Catering Supervisor will oversee all phases of banquet operations. Must be enthusiastic, possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have an ability to lead and direct a large banquet staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Required: High School Diploma or GED. Must have valid driver's license, ServSafe certification or obtain certification once hired, Tips/ RAMP Trained or willing to certify once hired.
A valid Driver's License is required. Employees (operators) must have been in possession of a valid operator’s license for not less than three (3) years and the license must have been in good standing without interruption during that time period.
Successful candidates will also be required to complete ACT 153 Clearance.
This position is considered "Emergency Staff." As such they may be required to report to work even when the college is closed or is operating under a delayed start.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. This position requires frequent squatting, bending, twisting and driving the catering truck. It requires constant walking, use of both arms and legs, and lifting above the waist. Occasional use of stairs, lifting above the shoulder and ladders.
Work Schedule: Varies depending on Event Schedule including daytime hours, evenings and weekends.
