We are looking for a Patient Services Manager to join our team to assist in managing our pharmacy services division. This is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level – you'll train and interact daily with C-level executives. Based on performance, there may be an opportunity for you to hire future staff you want to oversee.

To be successful in this role, you should have a basic administrative background, customer service skills, some pharmacy or medical background knowledge, and be a natural and clear communicator and able to think on your feet. You will be responsible for engaging with our clients to help assist in the process.Applicants will not need to understand drug sourcing; education for this will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact to clients and members
  • Clients – employers, TPAs, PBMs
  • Provide patient education on mail order pharmacy
  • Oversee multiple accounts
  • Provide internal support within the company
  • Attend internal and client meetings
  • Manage tracking workflows for patient accounts
  • Reach out to patients to enroll them in mail order pharmacy
  • Respond to member communication to ensure their medications are delivered on time
  • Place orders using outside vendors software systems
  • Enrolling members and completing the necessary paperwork for manufacturer assistance programs (PAP) and co-pay assistance for underinsured members
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to medication-assistance or communication-related software.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Slack, Word, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
  • Data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
  • Strong English written and verbal skills; able to clearly articulate opinions and needs to all levels of the organization
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated to work independently, effectively manage time and priorities, and meet team goals. Can handle multiple tasks and balancing competing priorities simultaneously
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically to produce meaningful outcomes
  • Comfortable engaging with clients at all levels, including C-level executives, and participating in client status meeting conference calls

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Patient care (pharmacy technician, nurse, etc.) or medical insurance background (Preferred)
  • Customer Service Experience: 2 years (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

Schedule:

  • 8am – 5pm
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus opportunities
