Job Title: Catering Supervisor at Corner Bakery

Description

The Catering Supervisor oversees all catering operations within the unit. Responsibilities include taking catering orders, scheduling drivers, preparing and producing catering food, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the catering department, and communicating directly with guests and outside customers daily.

The role involves supervising the preparation, presentation, and service of food, and working closely with catering and retail staff as well as restaurant managers.

Essential Functions

• Taking and modifying orders over the phone using POS systems
• Entering online orders into POS
• Resolving customer concerns with managerial approval
• Assigning delivery tasks to catering staff
• Preparing baked goods and food items
• Assembling catering food in baskets, trays, and bowls
• Making deliveries by vehicle or foot
• Preparing breakfast and lunch
• Cleaning and general maintenance duties
• Managing tips distribution
• Executing catering sales initiatives, including customer callbacks, menu drops, community event coordination, menu tastings, and sales lead identification

Additional Tasks

• Maintaining attractive FOH displays and condiment stations
• Checking and cleaning bathrooms
• Bussing tables
• Preparing food to specifications and order requests
• Handling cash flow and financial transactions accurately
• Preparing and organizing food for delivery to guests

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or in progress
• Ability to complete CBC driver training, pass MVR checks, and maintain a valid driver's license with insurance
• State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
• At least 3 months of guest service experience preferred, in restaurant or retail environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
