**Job Description**

Responsible for supervising, training, and managing the food service operation. Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production records if necessary.
2. Direct daily activities of the food service team.
3. Maintain food production standards to ensure safety and quality in accordance with policies, procedures, and department requirements.
4. Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items.
5. Maintain serving schedules; ensure all food items are served according to menu specifications and departmental policies.
6. Maintain a sanitary environment adhering to health and safety codes and regulations.
7. Keep accurate inventory records weekly, following departmental policies.
8. Prepare orders with vendors as needed to ensure adequate production levels.
9. Operate an efficient, cost-effective food service program.
10. Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
