Job summary

Zerocater is seeking a Catering Operations Site Lead to guide On-Site Specialists and ensure flawless client experiences in our Berkeley location. You’ll be the go-to person for clients, manage shift prep, and uphold our service standards during every meal.

The role is part-time with a $24/hour rate, plus a $15 monthly cell phone stipend and a 401(k) match. Flexibility to cover 5–7 hour shifts Thu-Sun is required, with a set weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a team lead or management role in hospitality or customer-facing work.
• Proven ability to work well with others and lead a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Detail-oriented with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main client contact and address questions or issues.
• Conduct pre-shift prep and delegate tasks to team members.
• Ensure Zerocater standards exceed expectations for each meal.
• Act as executive decision-maker on meal issues with quick thinking.
• Schedule new On-Site Specialists to shadow current staff and maintain quality.
