Battle House Hotel and Spa in Mobile, AL is seeking a Catering Setup Supervisor to ensure smooth catering operations. You will act as an assistant to the Catering Service Manager, oversee setup and breakdown of all events, and supervise Catering Aides to maintain high standards of service.

Your role includes reviewing daily BEOs, coordinating with the Catering Manager, and ensuring each function meets client specifications while upholding the property’s award-winning hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel catering operations and events.
• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Ability to read and implement Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

Responsibilities

• Act as assistant to Catering Service Manager and understand duties across allocated areas.
• Ensure proper setup and breakdown of all Catering Department events and functions.
• Maintain neat, clean catering areas and supervise Catering Aides.
• Review BEOs with the Catering Service Manager to ensure daily completion of tasks.
• Inspect meeting rooms to verify setup matches BEO requirements.
• Train and back-up Catering Aides and manage scheduling as needed.
