Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Services Manager to lead all catering solutions and special events at the New Jersey location. You will guide the catering team to meet customer expectations, deliver high-quality events, and manage revenue and expenses.

The role requires proven management experience in events/hospitality, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and willingness to work event-based hours. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of experience in management or supervisory roles.
• Prior experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Available to work event-based hours.
• Must have excellent communications skills.
• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers’ needs.
• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport.
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events.
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and setup of events from banquet orders.
• Assist clients in planning special events with creative solutions.
• Train and lead catering employees to ensure standards are met.
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders and QA all requests.
• Deliver food and labor targets.
• Execute catering events of varied size including staffing.
• Ensure accurate reporting of catering revenue, expenses, and receivables.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members.
• Ensure compliance with food, safety, and environmental policies.
