Job summary

Hilton in Texas seeks a Catering Sales Manager to solicit and service group and local catering business, including meetings, social events, weddings, and banquets. You will handle proposals, contracts, and detailed event planning from start to finish, coordinating with F&B, Banquets, and Operations for flawless execution.

With 2+ years in catering sales or event planning, you will drive revenue, manage multiple clients, and maintain relationships for repeat business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years catering sales or event planning experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously
• Detail-oriented and customer-service focused
• Knowledge of food and beverage standards and basic banquet operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales CRM software (Delphi/FDC preferred)
• Flexible schedule to accommodate events, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Solicit new catering business through prospecting, networking, and client referrals
• Respond promptly to inquiries with detailed proposals and contracts
• Plan and coordinate events from booking to final billing (BEOs, layouts, timelines)
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business
• Collaborate with F&B, Banquets, and Operations for seamless execution
• Meet or exceed catering sales goals set by the Director of Sales/Catering
• Conduct site visits and tours with prospective clients
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings
• Maintain records in the sales system (Delphi/CI/TY)
• Represent the hotel at bridal shows, trade events, and community functions
