Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront, a full-service hotel, is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to contribute to room revenue and food & beverage services in their designated market(s). The candidate will solicit and manage all accounts within their market segments, prospect and close assigned accounts/territories to positively impact hotel revenues, and work toward meeting or exceeding goals.

• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maximize efforts toward productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.

Previous Sales and Catering experience in hospitality, or a related field, is required. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits available. Long hours are sometimes required.
