Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Catering Sales Manager for their luxurious Bedford Springs Resort. Job Description

Omni Bedford Springs Resort is hiring a Catering Sales Manager to join our luxurious historic resort. The resort features 20,000 sq ft of indoor event space, 36,000 sq ft of outdoor spaces, an award-winning spa, golf course, and outdoor activities. The catering sales team manages events like weddings, social galas, family reunions, and board meetings, ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively sell, contract, and service social and small corporate bookings, focusing on weddings.
  • Coordinate all event aspects including food and beverage, timing, AV, guest services, room allocations, amenities, setup, transportation, billing, and special requests.
  • Follow departmental SOPs and meet/exceed sales goals.
  • Upsell and maximize revenue, partner with culinary for menu creation, and recommend vendors.
  • Prepare and review resumes, create Banquet Event Orders, and coordinate event details across departments.
  • Maintain client communication, ensure event specifications are met, and conduct pre/post-event meetings.
  • Achieve high Medallia scores by providing excellent client service.
  • Attend departmental meetings and site inspections as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in catering sales or conference services in upscale hotels/resorts (preferred).
  • Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Delphi.fdc/Salesforce, and management systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage complex events and multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
