Job summary

Off the Grid in San Francisco is hiring a Sales Manager to lead the catering pipeline, ensure forecast accuracy, and develop the reps who fill it. This role emphasizes process, discipline, and enabling the team over closing deals.

You will coach reps across corporate and event work, design outbound engagement, and guarantee margin and producibility of events. Expect Bay Area travel and regular client-site visits as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years managing quota-carrying sales reps.
• Forecast discipline with stage-level metrics.
• Experience building outbound sales motions.
• CRM fluency and data-driven reporting.
• Catering, hospitality, events or experiential background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the catering pipeline honesty and progression criteria.
• Maintain pipeline coverage at or above 3× forward revenue and manage deals timely.
• Deliver weekly/monthly forecasts based on stage data and close rates.
• Coach reps with structured 1:1s and development goals.
• Design outbound engagement and transition relationships to reps.
• Lead client relationships and ensure proactive communication.
