Job summary

Main Street Hospitality in Hampton Bays, NY is seeking a Director of Catering Sales to lead the development and execution of a dynamic hotel sales strategy. You will own the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and proposals to contracting and client stewardship, partnering with GM, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to align strategies with business goals and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive hotel sales experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success across corporate, group, leisure, wedding, and social segments.
• Proficiency with CRM, PMS, and sales reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of revenue management principles and funnel dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual sales strategy aligned with property positioning and revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, group, leisure, wedding, and social segments.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through outreach, networking, and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to set pricing, monitor demand, and optimize channels.
• Lead forecasting, pacing, and reporting to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Serve as lead contact for key accounts, nurturing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
