Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year in catering sales.
• Experience at a similar size and quality hotel preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and hotel sales system.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, and marketing plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and solicit new and existing accounts to achieve revenue goals.
• Use forecasting, budgeting, pace management, and productivity metrics to meet targets.
• Sell all hotel services (room rental, A/V, catering) to maximize account value.
• Coordinate site inspections, client presentations, and industry events.
• Collaborate with culinary and banquet teams to design menus and event setups.
• Oversee event execution and coordination with staff and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records in Delphi and other sales systems.
