Job summary

AC Hotel Fort Worth is seeking a Catering Sales/Operations professional to train and supervise catering staff, solicit new banquet and catering business, and ensure guest satisfaction and profitability. You will oversee space tours, menus, forecasts, and contract negotiations while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role emphasizes hospitality excellence, clear communication, and strong organizational skills to deliver memorable events and repeat business in a fast-paced hotel

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English and maintain a professional appearance.

• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff.
• Tour banquet/meeting space daily and report repairs.
• Develop and conduct persuasive sales presentations to clients.
• Schedule duties for catering staff for efficient operations.
• Solicit new accounts and oversee service of group functions.
• Write banquet menus, memos, and forecasts; revise annual/monthly plans.
• Negotiate and write contracts; enter information into sales system.
• Interact with clients to identify needs and direct staff accordingly.
• Create special themes and menus.
• Communicate clearly to staff, verbally and in writing.
• Maintain attendance and be available regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
