Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in hospitality, business, or related field.
• 2+ years of catering sales, event planning, or hotel sales experience.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, catering trends, and event logistics.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, solicit, and close catering sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and event organizers.
• Develop catering proposals tailored to client needs and budgets.
• Collaborate with marketing to create promotional campaigns for catering services.
• Serve as main point of contact from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Work with banquet and culinary teams to ensure seamless events.
• Create and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to communicate client requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster repeat business.
• Prepare contracts, proposals, and event budgets.
• Monitor event profitability and ensure adherence to policies.
