Job summary

The Seagate Hotel, Gold and Beach Club in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Social Catering Sales Manager to grow event and catering sales. The role focuses on setting and achieving sales goals, developing marketing strategies, and managing catering operations to ensure flawless execution.

You will build strong relationships with members, guests, and staff, and curate a dynamic calendar of events while coordinating with the Director of Sales & Marketing to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in hospitality catering or events.
• Strong sales techniques with closing and negotiating skills.
• Comfortable with site inspections and client presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CI/TY, Excel, and LightSpeed.
• Associate degree or higher in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive catering sales and achieve revenue growth while maintaining service quality.
• Set event and sales goals and develop strategies through networking and marketing.
• Plan a diverse calendar of events and manage referral relationships.
• Forecast monthly results and assist with annual budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure exceptional event execution.
• Maintain client relationships and pursue repeat business.
