Elior North America is hiring a Catering Sales Coordinator for the Perez Art Museum in Miami, FL. You will support the Director of Catering and the sales team, ensuring timely execution of events and accurate information in CaterXpert.

This role involves assisting in event setup, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining calendars while collaborating with culinary and booking staff to meet client needs. The position requires a background in catering/events and proficiency with Word and Excel.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a Catering Sales Coordinator to add to our Constellation team at the Perez Art Museum in Miami, FL. This is a great opportunity if you have a catering events background and you have had experience planning and executing those events. You’ll be directly supporting the needs/goals of the Director of Catering as well as the Catering Sales Manager and the Event Specialist. If you are looking to advance your career in managing catering events, this is a great role for you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working as a member of a cohesive operations team supporting the Director of Catering and sales team, as well as the General Manager to enable perfect event execution. This individual functions as a support to the Event Manager and Captains, as well as sometimes acting as a junior sales specialist when business levels are high. The Catering sales coordinator maintains a positive, “win-win” attitude, always working to improve the execution and timeliness of their team.
• Ensuring all event information in CaterXpert from the sales team is up to date and fully detailed prior to event/deadlines.
• Assisting in the setup and execution of events.
• Ensure that event rentals have scheduled deliveries and pickups that are convenient for specialist or venue management.
• Maintain calendar of events through Outlook and attend all necessary event meetings and conference calls.
• Communicate with sales, culinary and booking staff, as needed, to ensure understanding of menus and client needs.
• Responsible for the collection and submission of all payments and deposits as it relates to contracted events. They are responsible for ensuring that these payments are on time and also responsible for reviewing the weekly AR report and correcting any discrepancies and/or collecting any late payments.
