Job summary

Constellation is seeking a full-time Service & Hospitality Manager for our Miami, FL base (Wynwood Offices/Commissary). You will partner with event producers to deliver exceptional hospitality, coach the service team, and ensure polished guest experiences for high-profile events across the region.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in hospitality or catering leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to travel locally and regionally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of hospitality, banquet, or operations management experience within a high-volume, high-quality hotel, catering, or hospitality environment.
  • Off Premise and/or Cultural institution Catering experience a plus.
  • Exceptional hospitality instincts and strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Flexible availability, including nights and weekends, to support business and event needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of service models for venues and events.
  • Partner with Event Producers on walk-throughs of event spaces to support planning, production, and overall event flow.
  • Serve as regional subject matter expert for event execution and service—reviewing menus, equipment needs, staffing plans, and site layouts for each event.
  • Act as Lead Event Captain when necessary, including client tastings, setups, and event execution; create assignments and steps of service for events of all sizes.
  • Oversee event setup and breakdown to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with standards.
  • Review rental orders, manage discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Monitor events in real time to ensure profitable, high-level hospitality and consistent execution across all touchpoints.
  • Maintain, improve, and implement standardized FOH operating procedures for event staff.
  • Review event packets for completeness and translate into clear execution plans and steps of service; uphold standards.
  • Track KPIs for event team members for coaching and reviews.
  • Assist Staffing and Service departments in annual reviews and evaluations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for events team at all levels.
  • Provide on-site coaching and feedback to event staff to reinforce hospitality excellence.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new event team members.
  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings to ensure alignment on events and client requirements.
  • Monitor and manage labor and beverage controls during events to align with budgetary goals.

The Role at a glance:

Join our Constellation Culinary Events team as a full-time Service & Hospitality Manager in Miami, FL! In this role, you'll partner closely with event producers to bring large-scale events to life while training and supporting our growing service team. We're looking for a guest hospitality-driven leader who embodies stellar hospitality leads by example and relentlessly elevates the experience for both clients and guests. You should feel energized by creating remarkable experience, coaching teams to deliver best-in-class hospitality, and maintaining a polished, professional guest-facing presence. This position is based at our Miami (Wynwood) Offices/Commissary and will report to our Director of Hospitality. This position includes some travel throughout the CCG FL region to execute and support events across our cultural venues and off-premises sites. Ideal candidates have 2-4 years of hospitality or catering experience, with a strong focus on front-of-house leadership, large-event execution, and delivering outstanding hospitality at every touchpoint.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist the Staffing and Service departments in writing and conducting annual reviews, Principal Staffing Evaluations, and Captain Reviews.
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs for events team at all levels.
  • Provide in-the-moment, on-site coaching and feedback to event staff to reinforce CCG's mission of delivering best-in-class dining experiences and exceptional hospitality.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new event team members.
  • Attend and participate in weekly menu and operations meetings to ensure alignment and clear communication regarding events, venue, and client requirements.
  • Participate in all required meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
  • Monitor and manage labor and beverage controls during events to align with budgetary and operational goal
What we're looking for:

  • Proven organizational skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite & Canva
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with associates, management, clients, and vendor partners
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally outside the market as required. Estimated travel: 20-30%
  • Experience executing complex catering events with budgets exceeding $150K and guest counts of 1000+ preferred
Compensation Range

$75,000-80,000/yr. dependent on experience #LIGG1 #boost
