Job summary

The Dining Coordinator at Kellogg Global Hub Gordon’s Marketplace under Flik Hospitality Group plays a key role in coordinating catering requests, supporting event execution, and maintaining Market operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Reporting to the Café Manager, this role requires strong organization, proactive communication, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service, hospitality, catering, conference services, retail dining, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating meetings, events, or catering functions preferred.
• Knowledge of food service operations, hospitality standards, and customer service best practices.
• Working knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality assurance principles.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple catering events across several locations or floor levels.
• Experience supporting sit-down, plated, buffet, and reception-style events preferred.
• Familiarity with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event execution processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Toast POS, catering management software, or other hospitality technology platforms preferred.
• Basic wine knowledge and service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Dining Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of Kellogg Global Hub Gordon’s Marketplace “the Market” and Catering programs. This position reports to the Café Manager and serves as a liaison between clients, guests, culinary teams, dining leadership, and operational partners to ensure a consistently exceptional customer experience.
• Support the daily operations of the Market, ensuring products are fully stocked, properly merchandised, and available to meet customer demand.
• Support the daily operations of the catering program, including event setup, service execution, and client support.
• Monitor food presentation, merchandising, cleanliness, and the overall appearance of the Market and catering areas.
• Conduct routine quality assurance checks on food products, beverages, equipment, and service areas.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and product rotation.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client and guest requests while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with culinary, catering, and management teams to support menu development, promotions, and retail initiatives.
• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and assist in coordinating catering events to ensure successful execution.
• Assist with sales reporting, inventory reconciliation, and operational tracking as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
