Job summary

HireReady Partners in Bethlehem, PA, seeks a seasoned catering operations leader to plan and execute events, drive client satisfaction, and improve efficiency across campus catering services. You will lead a team, manage resources, and partner with clients and operations leaders to align goals and deliver tailored solutions.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of leadership in catering operations or similar high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 3 years management experience
• 3 years related experience
• Manage the Iacocca Conference Center including booking events, tours, onsite contact for events as needed and ensure
• Assist in coordination of deliveries around campus for all units
• Treats staff with respect and common courtesy.
• Assume responsibility for handling guest-related issues during or following an event.
• Oversees on daily or weekly bases to ensure standards are met including Uniforms, Pest Control, HAACCP and NSF
• Responsible for overseeing the catering operation including transportation across campus, equipment, logistics, vehicle fleet.
• Continue growing employee training program with an advanced server training, begin training for cashiers, utility and chef
• Oversee Supervisors responsible for equipment organization, cleaning check list, ensure Daily, Weekly and Monthly
• Safety checklists are complete, and staff is continually following all safety and sanitation policies.
• Walk around of all catering areas ensuring safety and sanitation practices are being followed
• Department Meetings cover as needed
• Assist with the completion of weekly huddles, safety, customer service and ambassador programs
