Job summary

Career Crunch in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a seasoned catering operations leader to plan and execute events across campus, delivering memorable client experiences while driving growth and efficiency.

You will manage supervisors and frontline staff, recruit and train teams, develop menus with costing, and collaborate with clients and operations leaders to align goals and ensure high standards.

Qualifications

Job description

• You will lead the planning and execution of catering operations to deliver exceptional service and drive business success. Combining creativity with practical insights, you'll ensure memorable client experiences while supporting growth and efficiency. Working collaboratively across teams, you will help develop and implement strategies that strengthen client relationships and promote ongoing success.
• Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. • Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Related Experience: 3 years
• Oversee Zoellner Arts Center Events and Concessions including the Concessions Supervisor
• Manage the Iacocca Conference Center including booking events, tours, onsite contact for events as needed and ensure
• Assist in coordination of delivers around campus for all units
• Treats staff with respect and common courtesy.
• Assume responsibility for handling guest-related issues during or following an event.
• Oversees on daily or weekly bases to ensure standards are met including Uniforms, Pest Control, HAACCP and NSF at
• Iacocca Conference Center and Zoellner Arts Center
• Responsible for overseeing the catering operation including transportation across campus, equipment, logistics, vehicle fleet.
• Continue growing employee training program with an advanced server training, begin training for cashiers, utility and chef
• Oversee Supervisors responsible for equipment organization, cleaning check list, ensure Daily, Weekly and Monthly
• Safety checklists are complete, and staff is continually following all safety and sanitation policies.
• Walk around of all catering areas ensuring safety and sanitation practices are being followed
• Department Meetings cover as needed
• Assist with the completion of weekly huddles, safety, customer service and ambassador programs
