Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of catering or related work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service throughout catering events.
• Meet with customers to write detailed orders and coordinate with kitchen, bakery, and deli.
• Set and uphold department standards for service, cleanliness, and profitability.
• Develop contracts and pricing for exclusive Hy-Vee catering events.
• Oversee bookkeeping procedures and invoices.
• Organize store shows and bridal/holiday events.
• Ensure proper temperatures and storage for freshness.
• Instruct and coordinate department staff as needed.
