Elior North America is hiring a Banquet Sales Manager for Lancer-Hospitality in Phoenix, AZ to drive sales and catering for internal and external groups. The role involves planning menus, coordinating events, and managing budgets.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in sales or catering management, strong leadership and MS Office skills, and an associate degree in hospitality. The position offers full-time onsite employment with salary up to 50K plus commission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ progressive experience in a sales or catering management role.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities; ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
• Associate degree in hospitality or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises all catering functions.
• Maintains local client database and builds relationships with vendors.
• Creates operating statements, reports, and operational budgets, and reviews the collection of receivables.
• Develops and maintains excellent relationships with all associates, clients and customers.
• Creates proposals, contracts and all event orders.
• Ensures that all menus and catering materials are professionally prepared and presented.
• Responsible for the hiring, development of catering staff and is actively involved in the development of training manuals and catering policies and procedures.
