Job summary

Lancer Hospitality in Phoenix is seeking a Banquet Manager to oversee all aspects of event planning and execution at a cultural attraction. You will manage budgeting, training and vendor relations to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities include creating floor plans, overseeing setup and breakdown, leading the event team, maintaining vendor communications, inventory and post-event analysis, and ensuring cost-effective operations within Net 30 payment terms.

Qualifications

• Prior event management, catering, planning and execution experience.
• Knowledge of Steps of Service.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple events concurrently.
• Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills.
• Must have an open and flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Reliable transportation to commute between units.
• Valid driver's license to drive company catering vehicles.

• Liaise with various vendors and suppliers to guarantee that all necessary equipment and services are available and operational for events.
• Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of in-house equipment and disposables.
• Track and manage inventory of outsourced equipment.
• Conduct post event evaluation including gathering feedback and analyzing data to identify areas of improvement.
• Ensure to adhere to budgetary goals, creatively managing cost while fulfilling stakeholder needs.
• Collect and submit all invoices for timely payment within Net 30 terms.

Lancer Hospitlity is hiring a Banquet Manager in Phoenix, AZ. The Banquet Managers primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring that client expectations are not only met but exceeded. This role encompasses a wide range of duties including planning, budgeting, training and vendor management. This role is located at an exciting Cultural Attraction!

What You'll Be Doing:

Event Planning and Execution

Client Relations
