Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking an experienced catering supervisor to manage the catering team, coordinate orders, and ensure product quality from storage to delivery. You will monitor stock levels, dates, and temperatures, while reviewing profit and loss, sales, shrink, and labor data to support upper management decisions.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coordination with kitchen and inventory staff, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1+ year related experience.
• Must be 18+ years old; 21+ to drive per policy.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; planning, directing work and assessing performance.
• Reviewing historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions; manage inventory to ensure in-stock levels.
• Maintain and improve sales, financial results, product quality, and work standards.
• Oversee catering jobs to ensure timely delivery and proper execution.
• Communicate product needs to inventory personnel to ensure availability.
• Assist kitchen staff with cooking, slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling and displays.
