Job summary

The Missouri Athletic Club Downtown in Saint Louis is seeking an experienced Director of Catering to lead our catering and event operations and deliver memorable member experiences. This full-time role requires strong leadership, hospitality expertise, and a passion for exceptional events.

Responsibilities include directing the catering team, planning weddings, banquets and meetings, coordinating with members and clients, and collaborating with the Executive Chef and F&B teams on menus, pricing,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years catering or hospitality experience with management.
Private club/upscale hospitality experience preferred.
CMAA membership preferred.
CWP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the catering team while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Oversee the planning and execution of weddings, banquets, meetings, luncheons, and other social events.
Coordinate event details with members/clients for seamless experiences.
Collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B on menus, pricing, staffing, and execution.
Oversee event budgets, billing, labor, and other operational needs.
Conduct BEO meetings and coordinate event details across departments.
Build relationships with members/clients and grow catering business.
Maintain high standards for event quality and guest satisfaction.
