The Saint Louis Club in Saint Louis, MO seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations, delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests while upholding top standards of quality, sanitation, and teamwork. You will mentor a talented culinary team, develop diverse menus, and collaborate with leadership to achieve the club’s mission of excellence, member satisfaction, and gastronomic excellence
Qualifications
- Executive Chef leads culinary operations, maintains quality and sanitation standards.
- Proven leadership and ability to mentor a culinary staff.
- Strong knowledge of food production, menu development, and cost control.
- Experience in private club dining; wine pairing is a plus.
- Develop annual training plans for culinary staff and ensure staff growth.
- Collaborate with General Manager and department heads to meet member expectations.
Responsibilities
- Team Building & Leadership – build and mentor a strong culinary team with urgency and accountability.
- Set New Standards of Excellence – raise operation standards and align with the club’s dining experience.
- Create New Menus – develop evolving, member-focused menus using local, high-quality ingredients.
- Review Delivery Systems – assess ordering/production processes for speed and consistency.
- Build Trust with Front of House – maintain positive FOH relations and member engagement.
