Compass Group USA's Flik Hospitality is seeking a Catering Coordinator in New York to manage sales, administration, and coordination for on- and off‑premise catering events.

The role requires excellent attention to detail, superb communication, and the ability to multi‑task across multiple projects while serving clients and vendors. A flexible schedule, including weekends, is expected to support busy events.

Experience in dining, catering or events and proficiency with MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Marketing is preferred.
• Experience in dining, catering and/or events.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting rooms based on client requirements.
• Lift 50+ lbs., and manage furniture inventory.
• Perform daily conference center walkthroughs to ensure space is well maintained.
• Direct clients to appropriate meeting rooms and assist with furniture requests.
