Elior Collegiate Dining at WVU Alumni Center is seeking a Catering Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute catering events. You will partner with clients, culinary teams, and vendors to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 1-2 years in catering or related fields, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Working onsite at WVU Alumni Center offers growth in events and catering operations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in catering, food and beverage, events or related field.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating catering events from start to finish, including logistics, setup, and teardown.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, customizing orders, and ensuring event details align with client expectations.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules for catering orders, event rentals, and any additional materials required.
• Work with culinary and operations teams to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Maintain a master calendar of events and deadlines, attending pre-event meetings and communicating event details to all relevant parties.
• Liaise with external vendors to arrange equipment, rentals, and other necessary services to support successful event execution.
• Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring seamless execution and promptly addressing any last-minute issues.
• Manage catering supplies, equipment, and materials to ensure sufficient inventory levels for upcoming events.
• Ensure all food and services meet company standards for quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
