Job summary

Chick-fil-A Mentor is seeking a Catering Lead who will own the catering experience from order to delivery, setup and follow-up, and help grow the catering business with community connections.

You will build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and partners, participate in events, and enhance leadership and sales skills while working with an experienced leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the acquisition, production, delivery, and follow-up of catering orders.
• Ensure every order is accurate, organized, and completed on time.
• Prepare all catering supplies, including boxes, utensils, sauces, bags, and other necessary items.
• Deliver catering orders safely and professionally.
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and issues with care and follow-through.
• Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners.
• Develop new catering opportunities through networking and personal relationships.
• Participate in traditional marketing and outside sales efforts.
• Oversee and participate in serving at outside sales events.
• Look for creative ways to strengthen existing relationships and generate new business.
• Maintain an accurate catering expense tracker.
• Develop advanced knowledge of Chick-fil-A products.
• Collaborate with leadership and the Owner/Operator to meet business needs.
• Take initiative and contribute to the successful execution of the business.
• Learn how sales, operations, guest experience, and relationships come together to grow a business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own the Catering Experience

You’ll take ownership of the catering process from beginning to end—from acquiring the order to production, delivery, setup, and follow-up.
