Job summary

SSA Group, LLC., a long‑time partner to cultural attractions, seeks an Event Sales Associate to join the Catering Sales Team. You will support planning and execution, delivering warm experiences for guests and clients while coordinating with operations and culinary teams.

Responsibilities include assisting with contracts, deposits, and post‑event follow‑up, ensuring seamless events and adherence to company policies and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in event planning or catering operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming experiences for guests and clients.
• Assist Event Sales Coordinator with daily duties and tasks.
• Handle birthday inquiries and upsell event details.
• Prepare contracts, BEOs, diagrams and internal documents.
• Communicate thoroughly with clients and cross‑functionally with operations.
• Ensure events are executed with operational excellence and compliance.
• Secure deposits and ensure full payments prior to events.
• Support post-event follow-up and client development.
• Uphold company policies and sustainability goals.
