SSA Group is seeking a Catering Associate in California to deliver warm, guest-focused experiences at catered events. You will oversee product quality and inventory, fulfill guest needs promptly, and assist with event setup, service, and teardown, ensuring smooth operations across multiple teams.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Operate equipment necessary to perform job duties.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes (35lbs).
• Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming experiences for guests and clients.
• Oversee quality, product levels and inventory.
• Fulfill guest needs quickly and resolve complaints effectively.
• Set up, execution, breakdown, and cleanup of events.
• Perform back of house and front of house duties for productivity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicate clearly with leaders for overall success.
• Support Supervisors and Managers during events.
