Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is seeking a Catering Associate to deliver exceptional guest experiences at events and provide seamless support across front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This role emphasizes hospitality, clear communication, and professional presence to uphold the SSA 452 Hospitality standard.

The position requires physical stamina to stand and maneuver equipment, and flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, across multiple locations.

• Demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making abilities; organized and reliable.
• Flexible in a fast-paced environment and able to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for guests and clients.
• Oversee quality, product levels, and inventory of catered items.
• Fulfill guests' needs promptly and resolve complaints effectively.
• Set up, execute, and breakdown events in a timely and organized manner.
• Assist with back-of-house and front-of-house duties to support banquet productivity.
• Explain menus and food service techniques to guests with a service-minded approach.
• Perform physical tasks including moving boxes and equipment as required.
• Support placement and storage of rental orders and catering items.
