Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a Catering Coordinator at Albany State University - Radium Campus to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of catering events. You will work with clients, culinary teams, and vendors to ensure seamless service and timely delivery.

The role requires 1-2 years in catering or related fields, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. On-site work and a full-time schedule at the Albany location are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of catering events from start to finish, including logistics, setup, and teardown.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, customizing orders, and ensuring that all event details align with client expectations.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules for catering orders, event rentals, and any additional materials required.
• Work with the culinary and operations teams to ensure all orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Maintain a master calendar of events and deadlines, attending pre-event meetings and communicating event details to all relevant parties.
• Liaise with external vendors to arrange equipment, rentals, and other necessary services to support successful event execution.
• Provide on-site assistance during events, ensuring seamless execution and promptly addressing any last-minute issues.
• Manage catering supplies, equipment, and materials to ensure sufficient inventory levels for upcoming events.
• Ensure all food and services meet company standards for quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

What we're looking for:

Must-Haves:

• 1-2 years of experience in catering, food and beverage, events or related field.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Safe Food Handler’s Certification
