Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a Catering Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of campus catering events at West Virginia Wesleyan College. You will partner with clients, culinary teams, and vendors to deliver exceptional service and flawless events.

The role requires strong organizational skills, customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Growth in the catering and events industry is available.

Formación

• 1–2 years of catering, food & beverage, events or related field.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and coordination of catering events from start to finish, including logistics, setup, and teardown.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, address inquiries, customize orders, ensure event details align with client expectations.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules for catering orders, event rentals, and materials.
• Work with culinary and operations teams to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Maintain a master calendar of events and deadlines, attend pre-event meetings, communicate details to all parties.
• Liaise with external vendors to arrange equipment, rentals, and services for successful events.
• Provide on-site assistance during events, addressing last-minute issues promptly.
• Manage catering supplies, equipment, and materials to ensure inventory for upcoming events.
• Ensure all food and services meet company standards for quality and satisfaction.

What we're looking for:

Must-Haves:

• 1-2 years of experience in catering, food and beverage, events or related field.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Safe Food Handler’s Certification

Compensation Range

$24 / hour
