Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining in Albany State University is seeking a Marketing & Events Manager to enhance campus dining experiences, support catering and special events, and create memorable experiences for students, faculty, staff, and guests.

You will develop marketing strategies, promote dining programs and drive events with collaboration across food service, catering and operations to align with brand and campus needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Marketing Experience or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Solid understanding of marketing strategies and tactics (food service, retail or restaurant management preferred).
• Possess professionalism and passion for customer and client relations.
• Demonstrated ability to relate well to individuals and groups with varying backgrounds, perspectives, education and skills.
• Ability to think strategically and operate autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance the campus dining experience.
• Promote dining programs and catering services, and drive engagement around events and campus initiatives.
• Partner with food service, catering and operations teams to ensure aligned marketing efforts with the brand and campus needs.

We are looking for an innovative Marketing & Events Manager to join our Collegiate Dining team in Albany. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative marketing professional to support our campus dining, catering, and special events operations while helping shape an engaging and memorable experience for students, faculty, staff, and campus guests.

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance the overall campus dining experience, promote dining programs and catering services, and drive engagement around special events, promotions, and key campus initiatives. You will partner closely with food service, catering, and operations teams to ensure marketing efforts align with the brand, client expectations, and the unique needs of the campus community.

• Develop and execute retail promotional strategies for culinary concepts
• Develop marketing programs aimed to increase customer satisfaction, participation and or revenue
• Partner with the operations team to develop creative briefs for marketing collateral which includes among other initiatives
  • In-Unit Marketing Calendars
  • In-Unit brands standards
  • Retail & Food Service Concepts
  • Programs or special events
  • Social Media campaigns
  • Website edits

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• 3 years of Marketing Experience or related field
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
• Solid understanding of marketing strategies and tactics (food service, retail or restaurant management preferred)

• Experience working in a marketing capacity supporting a contract services organization
