Job Opening: Catering Cook at Morrison Healthcare

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time Catering Cook position located at Prisma Health Greenville, 701 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Some weekends required for catering events. More details provided during the interview.

Requirements: Prior customer service experience is required.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

The Catering Cook prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and schedules.
2. Serve meals using correct portioning, maintaining standards for temperature and presentation.
3. Use established ticket procedures; maintain records during service.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
6. Assist in production planning, ordering, and record keeping.
7. Report maintenance issues promptly.
8. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
9. Maintain good working relationships and a safe work environment.
10. Follow HACCP standards for food presentation and temperature control.
11. Adhere to all company policies, including safety protocols like using gloves and slip-resistant shoes.
