Canteen
  • We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions.
  • Location: Mary Kay - 16251 Dallas Parkway, Addison, TX 75001. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Days may vary, more details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous culinary and catering experience required.
  • Perks: Safety shoes, growth bonus, uniform, employee meals.
  • Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Prepares high-quality food items following standardized recipes.
  2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning and temperature.
  3. Uses established ticket procedures during service and maintains records.
  4. Cleans kitchen after preparation and service, storing or discarding excess food properly.
  5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
  6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
  7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  8. Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  9. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
  10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
  11. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.
  13. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
  14. Prioritizes safety for oneself and others.
  15. Follows all company policies, including safety protocols like using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
