Position Title: Catering Cook

Pay Range: $19/hr - $22/hr

Event Based Schedule: MLB Season

Join the Premium Catering team at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and be part of an energetic, fast-paced environment where every day brings new opportunities to create exceptional dining experiences. As a Catering Cook, you’ll prepare high-quality meals for a variety of events, contributing to memorable moments for fans and guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
2. Assist in cooking hot and cold foods according to Core signatures and recipes.
3. Prepare items on production sheets following quantities, recipes, and portion control.
4. Complete daily production worksheets, ensuring accurate waste logs and inventory.
5. Operate and clean kitchen equipment, ensuring adherence to proper handling and safety procedures.
6. Ensure food items are properly stored, labeled, and dated according to standards, following food safety guidelines.
7. Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
8. Complete prep duties, including washing dishes, taking inventory, and restocking supplies.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sinks, counters, and cooking equipment.
10. Follow established safety standards for food handling, cooking, and storage.
11. Work with FOH team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
12. Assist with all event types including catering, department specific products, game day events.
13. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in food preparation or culinary arts, large-volume kitchen experience preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen operations.
3. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines.
5. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. This position may require the following valid certifications: ServSafe Food Certification, Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ascend and descend stairs.
2. Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
3. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
4. Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping, cutting, and food preparation.
5. Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.
