Job Summary

Join the Culinary team at Guy Fieri's DTPHX Kitchen + Bar at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Be part of an energetic, fast-paced environment where every day offers new opportunities to create exceptional dining experiences. As a Prep Cook, you'll prepare high-quality meals for various events, contributing to memorable moments for fans and guests.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
  2. Assist in cooking hot and cold foods following Core signatures and recipes.
  3. Prepare items on production sheets, following specified quantities, recipes, and portion controls.
  4. Complete daily production worksheets, ensuring accurate waste logs and inventory.
  5. Operate and clean kitchen equipment, adhering to safety procedures.
  6. Store, label, and date food items properly, following safety guidelines.
  7. Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  8. Perform prep duties like washing dishes, taking inventory, and restocking supplies.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work station.
  10. Follow safety standards for food handling, cooking, and storage.
  11. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
  12. Assist with various event types, including catering and game day events.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in food preparation or culinary arts; large-volume kitchen experience preferred.
  • Strong culinary skills, knife skills, and knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
  • Valid certifications such as ServSafe Food Certification or Maricopa County Food Handler certification may be required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, ascend/descend stairs.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures.
  • Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity for chopping and food prep.
  • Bend, stoop, and kneel as necessary.
