Job summary

The Catering Captain role at Compass Group USA is based at Leidos HQ in Reston, VA, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday. You will coordinate catering staff, assist with food preparation, and ensure timely service at functions under the Catering Director's supervision.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of catering captain experience and a valid driver's license; food handler or alcohol server permits may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• 3 years catering captain experience required.
• Food handler experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules and ensures timely delivery of functions.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered events.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and food safety standards.
